Blackpool born and bred.

After studying art at school, he has always maintained an interest, often sketching while on holiday but he rarely had time to paint due to his busy lifestyle. He has studies on a variety of courses and workshops to develop his skills using different materials and media.

After the death of his wife, Avice, fourteen years ago, he started painting on a regular basis. He is a member of Blackpool Art Society and has had exhibitions at Garstang, Fleetwood, Poulton and Blackpool.

All profits from the sale of any of his paintings are donated to the hospital for the care of patients suffering from Leukaemia.
