Garstang Community Academy Jean Grange Award

The Jean Grange Art Award exhibition celebrates the tremendous achievements of the Garstang Community Academy GCSE arts students. This year we see a range of contemporary references, with both landscapes from the urban and natural world; all produced in a multitude of mediums.

The exhibition is first and foremost an opportunity to showcase what an outstanding body of work the students have produced over their course. Taking students who have an interest in the arts and hoping to encourage further involvement, development and enthusiasm both personally and in a professional regard. The students are given individual feedback for both their final pieces, and for the progression shown in their supportive works and sketchbooks.

The annual award is in memorial of the late Jean Grange, a stalwart of the early days of the Arts Centre.
