Well known local wildlife photographer Andy Stewart is showcasing his stunning studies of Brown Hares in his solo exhibition. Andy spends hours observing their behaviour and photographing them in the local area and his exhibition is a collection of photographs taken over the last 12 months.
The exhibition closes on Thursday 6th February.
“They are very challenging to photograph, so I spend a lot of time laying on the grass in my camo jacket waiting to get the right shot and the best light,” said Andy, one of whose earlier hare photos was chosen to appear in the 2016 BBC Countryfile calendar.
Our artist in residence is often in the café amongst his exhibition so come along for a brew and a chat while admiring the stunning photographs – open every Tuesday and Thursday 10 – 4pm, Saturdays 10:30 – 12:30pm.
