Primarily an artist painter but skilled in any subject which becomes successfully transferrable to the theming industry, we look forward to seeing Dawn’s eclectic artwork until 19th December.

I began drawing and painting in the screaming heat of Africa.

Happy Childhood days in our remote farmhouse accessed through Tarzan jungle; no electricity, wood smoke heralding hot bath water or boiled stream water to quench our thirst or dinner.

Sitting straddled on a veranda edge, almost prey to a large baboon bored of raiding the sugar cane, willing my watercolour horses to come alive.

I vented my frustration at futile attempts. ‘Just try harder’ – so I did.

Both my parents were accomplished artists and I owe my talent to their encouragement and example – my genes to God.

Carlisle College turned down my application for a foundation Art Course in the eighties.  I mused on this while painting a large mural and sculpting dinosaur eggs and volcanos nearby at Fusion Trampoline Park, Jurassic Golf, in RockNative theming business.
