Volunteer Needed for the Arts Centre
We are looking for someone to take on the role of applying for the monies that are available to Charities such as ours. Lancashire County Council have a Crowdfunding scheme and other bodies such as the National Lottery Awards For All have funds which would help the Arts Centre with the ever increasing day to day running costs and also Special Events such as the Summer Celebration Festival of Arts and Music. Most applications for grants need to be made online, so someone with good IT skills is required. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference. Anyone interested call into the Arts Centre or telephone Anne Marie on 01995 603311

Garstang Ukulele Group – Rock and Roll Show
The summer has drawn swiftly to an end culminating for us in a lunchtime concert that moved the frontier of what we, as a group, can achieve. The warmth of the audience’s response to our 50s and 60s music extravaganza has given us the confidence to take our show on the road.
We continue to enjoy a unique position within our locale and relish the chance to bring songs, fun and laughter to our many faithful friends and communities. Your support continues to inspire us and we remain strongly committed to supporting local charities and community groups. If you would like to find out more about what we can now offer for your entertainment then please contact us by email at mail@trevorphillips.co.uk or call 01995600378.

Garstang Musical Productions
Our Autumn show “Little Shop Of Horrors” will be performed at Garstang Community Academy from 9th-12th October.
Little Shop Of Horrors is a musical comedy with music by the wonderful Alan Menkin. The story follows a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. This upbeat show includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, “Skid Row (Downtown)”, “Somewhere That’s Green”, and “Suddenly, Seymour”.
As always, our cast are all locals to Garstang, with some familiar and new faces treading the boards this year, plus we are performing alongside a live 9-piece orchestra. It’s a must see event for our community!
Tickets are on sale NOW via our Facebook page or you can copy the link below to go straight to our Online Box Office.
